With Net Trans, our hotel commission revenue has increased by 12% in 2011 versus 2010. Apart from the additional generated revenue, one of the main benefits of the service is the payment consolidation in euros and the decrease of bank charges. The complete outsourcing of the costly and complex task of chasing the hotels allows us to reduce our administrative costs and concentrate on our core business.

Datafeed

The first step is to set up the datafeed to Net Trans, we offer various solutions.

Once the data feed has been set up, all your electronic hotelbookings are automatically forwarded to Net Trans. Net Trans handles accounting messages from all GDSs as well as back office files.

GDS Automated Datafeed (Amadeus, Sabre, Worldspan, Galileo & Abacus)

If you are an Amadeus, Sabre, Worldspan, Galileo or Abacus customer, your GDS provides a direct data feed from its system to the Net Trans commission processing system. All you have to do is sign the service agreement and send it to Net Trans. Net Trans and your GDS will take care of the practical details of initiating the data feed.

NTAC Installation (GDS or Back Office Files)

If you want to send us backoffice files (applicable for larger agencies only), we collect your data with a clever piece of software called NTAC (Net Trans Active Connector). NTAC is designed to interface with any computer system, allowing Net Trans to collect data from the front-, mid- or back office system of a travel agency. NTAC is typically installed by the travel agency’s IT staff with support, if needed, from Net Trans. Usually, a single NTAC installation is sufficient for a travel agency, even if it has multiple office locations.

NTAC is free and needs no change in network security and infrastructure as long as you use a Windows PC/server that can browse the Internet. NTAC securely communicates with Net Trans servers only, by means of Net Trans proprietary protocols on top of standard Internet protocols XML and HTTPS. All NTACs are monitored from the Net Trans Operation Centre, so if an alarm is received, or we haven't heard from the installation for a while, we make contact and rectify the issue.
